Hi, I just did a fresh install of FC4. Now when I try to edit files in an Eclipse C++ project that I was using in FC3 (using Eclipse 3.0), it can't save. I first get an error "Save Failed: null" and then every subsequent save before closing Eclipse gives me this error "Save Failed:org.eclipse.core.internal.utils.UniversalUniqueIdentifier". When I look at the .log file it looks like it can't find the class UniversalUniqueIdentifier. Here is a snippet of the .log file: !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 2005-06-14 18:10:10.455 !MESSAGE Save Failed !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 2 0 2005-06-14 18:10:10.456 !MESSAGE Save Failed !STACK 0 java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.eclipse.core.internal.utils.UniversalUniqueIdentifier at java.lang.Class.initializeClass() (/usr/lib/libgcj.so.6.0.0) at org.eclipse.core.internal.localstore.BlobStore.addBlob(java.io.File, boolean) (Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.core.internal.localstore.HistoryStore2.addState(org.eclipse.core.runtime.IPath, java.io.File, long, boolean) (Unknown Source) at org.eclipse.core.internal.localstore.FileSystemResourceManager.write(org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile, org.eclipse.core.runtime.IPath, java.io.InputStream, boolean, boolean, boolean, org.eclipse.core.runtime.IProgressMonitor) (Unknown Source) ... Is anyone else seeing this problem or know of a solution? Thanks. -Mark Lenz
