YMMV! YMMV! I also did the same thing for one machine - it's headless and so installing from an install CD would have been a real PITA. Worked flawlessly. Though I was scared for a moment because when I rebooted it, I couldn't ping it. Then I remembered I had burned a Knoppix CD in it and never removed it :D
