I've just put a fresh install of FC4 on my computer. Totem doesn't seem to want to play anything. I've used it on a Gentoo installation and haven't had a problem. Now whenever I try to play something it says that there were no decoders found to handle the stream and that I might need to install the corresponding plugins whatever they might be. I'm really not sure whether it's using gstreamer or xine, but since xine isn't included in the distribution, I can only hope that it's using gstreamer - all gstreamer libs are present. Here's output from the command line. [wease1@desktop: ~] $ totem (totem:3188): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Cannot load module `/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libcdda.so' (/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libcdda.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) (totem:3188): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Cannot load module `/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libcdda.so' (/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libcdda.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) (totem:3188): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1719: signal `got-redirect' is invalid for instance `0x91f5688' ** Message: don't know how to handle video/mpeg, systemstream=(boolean)true, mpegversion=(int)1 ** Message: don't know how to handle audio/x-wma, wmaversion=(int)2, bitrate=(int)64040, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)2, block_align=(int)1487, codec_data=(buffer)008800000f00792e0000 ** Message: don't know how to handle video/x-wmv, wmvversion=(int)3, framerate=(double)25, width=(int)320, height=(int)240, codec_data=(buffer)4e791a01 [wease1@desktop: ~] $ If there are any other infos I can provide let me know. Thanks.
