First:
"error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory"
# yum install compat-libstdc++-33
I experimented with a symlink in /usr/lib:
ibstdc++.so.5 -> libstdc++.so.6.0.4
Bad! Bad! Don't set a bad example by publically admitting to such things, which may appear to work at first but lead to very strange behaviour in the future due to incompatible APIs ;-)
