Just wanted to let everyone know that disabling the NetworkManager service and re-saving the network settings via the gui network system tool fixed the issue. Probably could have just updated the /etc/resolv.conf manually but I wanted to make sure everything was saved correctly and I am lazy! :D Thanks again for all the help. -----Original Message----- From: Tom Sapp Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2005 09:04 AM To: 'For users of Fedora Core releases' Subject: RE: Can't access DNS names after update Thank you for your reply, my /etc/resolv.conf is not populated at all, only contains the line "; generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!" so it seems both issues are present at this time. I will take the necessary steps to resolve this issue and let everyone know if this resolves the issue. -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Dalloz [mailto:ad+lists@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2005 08:45 AM To: For users of Fedora Core releases Subject: Re: Can't access DNS names after update -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
