Ok, I did this on all the *.apl and *.api files in the acroread system directory, and now it works. I suppose this will become a FAQ, won't it?

It would be better if it were to become a bug (http://bugzilla.redhat.com). Then it would get fixed and it wouldn't have to be a FAQ.
