Can't use my CDROM

I am having a problem with my cdrom drive in Fedora Core2. It is a sony
700W dual layer burner. FC2 installed from it without problem. Now I
can't find it. The only place I can see it is in dmesg.

I is located at hda. But nothing can see it at hda. I am trying to get
K3b to use it. When I try to configure K3b to use device /dev/hda it
says there is no device there. Cdrecord also does not see it, not does
lsmod. or /proc/scsi/scsi.

I have two SATA drives as storage and the only thing connected to the
ATA connector is this cdrom.

Any ideas?
