well, its pretty simple, lets get away from the "does it make sense" point and try to find you a good explanation:
1. make a new partition for each linux. 2. all linux' may share the same swap space. 3. enter em all into your grub, lilo, or whatever boot manager you use (examples are in the grub.conf, lilo.conf or whatever.conf). 4. if needed, issue boot manager add command.
