I was on a previous version of xorg, not sure which, and everything was fine. When I was on my laptop display it gave me a resolution of 1280x800 (i think) and when I had my external monitor hooked up I got 1280x1024 (definitely). Since the xorg upgrade to 6.8.2 I'm honestly not sure what resolutions are trying to be used. I think it's using 1024x768 on both. James
