Hi, I updated the kernel to the latest official FC3 release using yum. After that, yum also informed me that several versions of netpbm needed to be updated which I did. However, on rebooting the machine results in kernel panic. The exact words are as follows: ...... Uncompressing Linux....OK, done. Audit (1117587386.484:0) initialized. Redhat nash version 4.1.18 starting. Enforcing mode requested but no policy loaded. Halting now. Kernel-panic -not starting: Attempted to hide unit. What exactly does all this mean, and how do I fix this? Many thanks and best wishes!
