Hi All,
I am posting this just to see if anyone has a clue. I got the
following errors when trying to do a netboot to reinstall on a Cobalt
RaQ. Anyway, I know it's not Fedora specific, but thought maybe
someone may understand the error stuff, as the Cobalt OS is a Linux
based one.
hdc : bad access : block = 1067788, Count = 2
end_request : I/O error, dev 16:00, sector 1067788
Seems to me like this harddisk is going bad.
Thanx if anyone can steer me in the right direction. Cheers.

Hi All,
Alex, that output was from the PC that the device is getting the OS
from. The device and PC are seperated by a cisco switch. It's not the CD
itself, is it.? I only just created it with k3b, using the iso image
found here,
http://ftp.cobalt.sun.com/pub/iso/
Okay, didn't know hdc is your CD/DVD drive...
Could you try burning the ISO again w/ lower speed?! Maybe w/ a
different type of CD-R?!
My /var/log/messages is full of this kind of I/O error stuff because of
vmware.
Cheers.
