For any of you having trouble with 3ware 9500
driver updates on FC3 to 3ware codeset 9.2, I have a kernel SRPM and RPM for
X86_64 smp kernel 2.6.11-1.27. If you need it, send me an email off
list. This gets rid of all error messages, cosmetic and otherwise.
Seems to be a bit faster than previous codesets as well. According to
3ware, these fixes will be incorporated into the 2.6.12 kernel. Problems
with stock FC3 3ware drivers dictated that I could not wait for
2.6.12.
hdparm -Tt results are as follows:
Timing cached reads: 3340 MB
in 2.00 seconds = 1670.25 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 366 MB in 3.01 seconds = 121.49 MB/sec --snip--
