another exposure Linux systems have is packet sniffers. I get them
regularly on this system. Nothing of any value or longevity here in any
event but that doesn't stop them from trying. Best thing to do is backup
anything of any value and remove from hard disk. That way you have it and
your install disks That's a direct defense against hackers who take files
hostage and demand $200 by email for the keys to decrypt those files
unless you're a windows user. Best advice for windows users is in
addition to backing files up, learn ms-dos because if the hackers encrypt
win.bat that's what you're going to run until you figure out how to clear
the situation.
