Re: syncing install repos with latest updates

Yes basically.  I combined this with repomanage.py from Seth Vidal to complete
the tedious task of weeding out older packages, however
I am having problems, namely my newly build distro does not install.  The install
bombs out at the package installation phase complaining that some of the packages
do not have order tags.  Anyone got any insight?

pkgorder does produce a number of warnings e.g.:

warning: LOOP:
warning:     udev-039-10.FC3.7                        PreReq: lvm2
warning: removing lvm2-2.00.25-1.01 "Requires: kernel >= 2.6" from tsort relations.
warning:     lvm2-2.00.25-1.01                        Requires: kernel >= 2.6
warning:     kernel-2.6.11-1.14_FC3                   PreReq: kernel-utils
warning: removing kernel-utils-2.4-13.1.49_FC3 "Requires: kudzu" from tsort relations.
warning:     kernel-utils-2.4-13.1.49_FC3             Requires: kudzu
warning: removing kudzu-1.1.95-1 "Requires: hal >= 0.2.96" from tsort relations.warning:     kudzu-1.1.95-1                           Requires: hal >= 0.2.96
warning: removing hal-0.4.7-1.FC3 "Requires: udev >= 034-2" from tsort relations.
warning:     hal-0.4.7-1.FC3                          Requires: udev >= 034-2

curious because these packages all seem to be available:
