If I do a..
# yum list "kernel*"

I get..
Installed Packages

kernel-utils.i386 1:2.4-13.1.49_FC3 installed

So if I try..
# yum remove kernel.i686
it wants to remove all of them..

I have tried specifying the version a couple of ways but then it doesn't find anything to remove..

So how do I do it?

Use rpm instead of yum:

# rpm -e kernel-2.6.9-1.667 kernel-smp-2.6.9-1.667 ...

Paul.
