I use FC1 running in QEMU with kqemu accelerator (on my 2.4MHz FC3 PC)
for my Kylix development. I use TUN device for networking with host eth0
in bridged mode so I can access network and internet. QEMU (with kqemu)
is now so good IMHO I have ditched VMWare.

You could use FC2 if you want...

you need to have the following setup...
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/legacy_va_layout

I added it to /etc/rc.d/rc.local
then I start kylix with...
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5; ./startdelphi
