I was wondering if you could help me with my partitioning issue in FC3. I allocated the wrong amount of drive space (200MB) to the partition that holds the temp info for yum / synaptic. Can i repartition w/o losing data? How can I go about changing my partition sizes without losing data?
It depends on your partition layout.
Consider simply not using the 200 Mb partition. If there's anything valuable there, copy it to a new directory beside the mount-point, unmount the partition (and fix fstab) and rename.
Or use a symlink to make the filesystem look right having copied stuff to where you have space
It's hard to be clear with so little info.
