-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear all, All of a sudden, I started getting the "your session lasted less than 10seconds ......" error with GDM. This happens as soon as the username and passwords are entered. The "show details" lists only the following lines: /etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp /etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "darkknight" There are no errors listed that I can track down and fix .. If I login to a Failsafe terminal instead and issue "gnome-session", I get a GNOME session running just fine... So somewhere between GDM and GNOME session, something must be wrong .. I just don't see what .. I hope someone can help me out ...
