Your SCSI controller is supported by the Fedora (and upstream) kernel. And if you speak about following sources: This is the source file for the Linux drivers version 6.2.10. Filename: aic7xxx-6.2.10-source.tar.gz Date: 20 Dec 2002 Size: 185904 bytes Language: English you will very certainly find, that they are not compatible with kernel 2.6 because of the age. Kernel 2.6.0 was release about nearly 1 year ago now. I suggest you better describe your problems with the kernel SCSI module and maybe fill in a bugzilla ticket, so that issues can be fixed.
