I do use that sort of process with the systems I administer at work, and my users, though they complain about the complexity of the passwords, do find that the mnemonic clue -- the sentence -- helps them quite a bit. Of course my office, while not full of hackers or crackers, is full of people who understand my paranoia and who are willing to play along. ;-) For outside folks who have occasional need to access our system, I do use a simple password generator which creates passwords like gras4mos and such-like. -- Richard S.
