There is no log file output. As a side note, I have fedora 3 on 5 linux boxes here. 1 athlon 2600 1 athlon 2200 1 athlon 1.3 thunderbird 1 p3 750 1 p4 1.6 All are update about 5 mornings per week, they are not identical installs as far as packages are concerned. 2 name servers, 1 print server, etc. I am having the same problem with all five machines now. Just in case, I did rpm --rebuilddb, thought there might be some rpm problems. No help. I did an rpm -ivh --replacefiles --replacepkgs yum*.rpm with the current version 2.2 whatever. No help. I am thoroughly at a loss now. John --
