Have a look at MailScanner
(http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/downloads.shtml). I've got
it set up with spamassassin and clamav, works great.

As for a firewall, you can set up a basic one using the Fedora GUI tool
(forget its name, typing this on my SuSE box).
