Hi, David,

The story starts with RH9.0 and mysql-query-browser.
This combination was working fine.

I recently upgraded to FC3, and was looking for mysql-query-browser rpm
for FC3.
I found one at http://rpm.pbone.net/ :
mysql-query-browser-1.1.5-1.n0i.2.i686.rpm

The dependencies are:
        libgtkhtml-3.6.so.15 is needed by mysql-query-browser-1.1.5-1.n0i.2.i686
        libmysqlclient.so.14 is needed by mysql-query-browser-1.1.5-1.n0i.2.i686
In fact, I realized that FC3 uses the old 3.23 MySQL, despite the fact
that MySQL4 has been out for long time, and considered stable, and
MySQL5 is in testing phase. Anyway; I failed to find libgtkhtml-3.6.so.15.
(Any idea where and how could I locate it?)

The I went to mysql-query-browser.tgz, and started the standard
"configure; make; make install" procedure.
Unfortunately:

checking GLIB_LIBS... -lglib-2.0 -lxml2 -lpthread -lz -lm
checking for libglade-2.0
                        gthread-2.0
                        libxml-2.0 >= 2.6.2
                        libgtkhtml-3.0
                        gtkmm-2.0...
Package libgtkhtml-3.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
configure: error: Library requirements (libglade-2.0
                        gthread-2.0
                        libxml-2.0 >= 2.6.2
                        libgtkhtml-3.0
                        gtkmm-2.0) not met;

So I started downloading various *.so stuff, and somehow I got to the
dependency of libsigc++20-2.0.6-1.i386.rpm.

So now you know the answer. Suggestions are welcome.

Cheers
Gaspar
