re: hwclock broken?

I have the same problem, as do others, according to these bug reports:

When running hwclock manually, you can use the --directisa option.

For the sake of startup and shutdown scripts, you can work around the problem by adding this line to /etc/sysconfig/clock:

CLOCKFLAGS=--directisa
