K3B DVD burn and md5sum

Hi

I downloaded the FC4T2 dvd and md5 checked the iso .. identical md5sum, fine so far.  Then I used K3B to burn the image .. I use a BENQ DVD writer under FC3.

After booting on a new machine when I did a media check it failed.  Anyway I went ahead and installed it and it installed fine, no issues at all.  Out of curiosity I popped in the disc into the writer and issued a md5sum /dev/hda and got a value that was different from the iso md5 .. I popped in the disc on the other machine and did a md5sum /dev/hda again and got an identical value.  But this value is different from the published iso md5.

ANy reasons why this is different (thought the values should be identical) .. maybe same reason the Fedora install media check fails but installs correctly without issues.

Regards
Srini
