Hi eran,

you're going to need a copy of mplayer and its gui to play .wmv and any other video file format not supported by the Helix Player.  Google for MPlayer and you'll come upon the site.  It's not hard to compile, it just has a few dependencies that need to be compiled first before the program itself can be.  It works very well and it plays DVDs and audio CDs as well.
