-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The problem in fact exists after upgrading to 2.6.11-1.14_fc3 kernel. The workaround is, as it was mentioned earlier, to restart the ntpd several times. The problem is connected expicitly to the new kernel, as it is not reproduced by rebooting to any of the previuos kernels. Has anyone reported it to bugzilla already? If not would it be a proper thing to make such a report?

I have no such problem. I have also upgraded to the latest kernel 3 days ago and ntpd works fine for now (no need to restart service).
