Other than the obvious choice of a repository in the same country you live in, what is a bad choice of repositories??
Repositories that conflict with each other for instance.

P.S. Please trim signatures (a line containing "-- " and anything below it) from the text you include when replying to posts. Otherwise, your comments appear to be part of the signature from the post you are replying to, and are greyed out (at least in Thunderbird), making it appear at first glance as though you've just re-posted the email you're replying to.
