I have successfully installed OpenDOS, OS/2, Solaris 10, Windows 2000,
Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP in a Bochs VM. Take care that you choose
the correct IPS value if you use a synchronized PIT. And don't expect
vmware's performance from bochs, it's a CPU emulator while vmware only
has to emulate the PC's hardware. Bochs runs best on a host that
provides more registers than the client, so it's best to compile for
AMD64 if you can.
