plugin: JRE in JDK for firefox

" * Open a terminal
    * Change to your Mozilla (or Mozilla Firefox) plugins directory
    * Issue the following command: ln -s
/usr/java/j2re1.5.0/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so

Important! If you install your JRE in a different way (self extracting
package, debian package, etc), libjavaplugin_oji.so will quite likely
be in a different location. Do not just blindly use the command listed
above! "
from <http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/java.html#Linux>

[thufir@localhost ns7]$ pwd
/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_02/jre/plugin/i386/ns7
[thufir@localhost ns7]$ ll
total 140
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 134116 Mar 4 13:17 libjavaplugin_oji.so

how do I find the firefox plugins directory? I should change to that
directory and then "ln -s
/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_02/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so"?

thanks,

Thufir
