I'm currently trying to install Fedora Core 3 ( latest got last week from ftp site ) from IDE CD-rom drive to SATA hard disk .
Installation process stops due to the fact that no hard drive is found .
It looks like SATA hard disk are not detected .
Any idea to fix this issue ?

I have a Dell 8400 with the Intel AHCI SATA controllers. FC3 won't work with the controller in AHCI mode. You can change the BIOS to use a non-AHCI setting or wait for FC4. FC4 does detect and use the system in AHCI mode.
