Personally, I am a fan of Firewall Builder. http://www.fwbuilder.org/
I am familiar with using Checkpoint FW-1, and this is about as close to the GUI management tool for it I have seen.
Checkpoint FW-1 is not a front end to iptables...FW1 is a commercial firewall package, unto itself.
