After a bit more poking around, I tried my nth install and was able to get it to work. System boots and goes into gui with all libs and files installed. Not sure what the error was, I had to manually partition the drives - placed only /home on second drive and all seemed to work. Prior to that the auto partition was using both drives in a log vol group. Are there any known restrictions on the hardware within a group?
