I didn't do anything fancy. Thanks > for the help. Boot the computer from Windows® CD into the rescue console like instructed on http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/win_xp_rec.htm and then run "fixboot". Caution: if you run "fixmbr" the MBR will be overridden and you loose grub. If you do that and you want to get grub back you will have to boot with the Fedora CD1 with "rescue" and then to run "grub-install /dev/hda". If you think to better switch to boot with the Windows® bootloader and to let that one start Fedora, then follow: http://www.geocities.com/epark/linux/grub-w2k-HOWTO.html Alexander -- Alexander Dalloz | Enger, Germany | GPG http://pgp.mit.edu 0xB366A773 legal statement: http://www.uni-x.org/legal.html Fedora Core 2 GNU/Linux on Athlon with kernel 2.6.10-1.771_FC2smp Serendipity 20:18:33 up 3 days, 17:45, load average: 0.55, 0.55, 0.47
