I think so. Well, you are online, else you couldn't email. Maybe you get
all the updates pending for your fresh FC3 install. At least get the
update kernel fitting the ipw2100 RPMs at
http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/ipw2100/
have tried this. it gives dependancy error.
i was setting up using the freakels howto. checked using modprobe. there was no crc32 module on the system.

/lib/firmware/ipw2100-1.3-i.fw, they are broken somewhere. have to figure out.
