Firefox is a web browser...most (if not all) web browsers handle the download when you click on an ftp:// URL. Thunderbird's behavior is to call the web browser to do just that. Even though it specifies, ftp, it's a URL. Aren't URL's supposed to be handled by the browser? I would imagine that unless you, somehow, go into Thunderbird's settings, and change what Thunderbird thinks it should do with a particular type of URL, Thunderbird would naturally call Firefox to download the file in question. -- Mike Burger http://www.bubbanfriends.org Visit the Dog Pound II BBS telnet://dogpound2.citadel.org or http://dogpound2.citadel.org:2000 To be notified of updates to the web site, visit http://www.bubbanfriends.org/mailman/listinfo/site-update, or send a message to: site-update-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a message of: subscribe
