Fedora should be just fine for you. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is essentially based on Fedora, so the manuals for RHEL are really good resources. Have a look at http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/ and especially read "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Introduction to System Administration" at that same location.
When you have questions, feel free to post them here, but read http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html first so that you have a good guideline about how to ask questions so that they are easy to understand and answer.
As someone else mentioned, posting HTML messages to this list tends to cause some people to go all sideways and cranky on you, so it is best avoided.
