Yes, it is running. I checked in Services and in the System Monitor
(2) People have reported the problem you are seeing with immediate wakeups. In my script, the >suspend is initiated by
echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep
That does not make a difference. Still ignores the command.
That is supposed to be a workaround for this problem.
I once booted with APM=ON, would that had triggered a switch that doesn't allow the computer to go to sleep?
