I have googled for some of the stuff and I see that, well, I have many hours of learning before me this night! If you could send me a copy of the output on your system, I would appreciate it. This would, I think, eliminate most of my searching for stuff that SHOULD be in there. Anything that I have that you don't, I will look into further. I should mention that yesterday I had removed the oldest kernel that was on my system as per another thread that I saw on the list. Afterward I did yum update kernel just for the heck of it. I did restart the computer afterward. And it seems to be slowing down by the minute! Anything that I click on takes about a second to respond. Thanks so much.
