In case anyone else is running into this
issue, It’s a conflict with selinux. I’ll try to figure out what
policy will fix this and post it later. -Mike From:
fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike McGrath I’m trying to use net-snmp to do process
monitoring. For example on a machine with a non FC3 net-snmp
implementation I have in my snmpd.conf file: proc httpd when I do an snmpwalk I get: .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prIndex.1
= INTEGER: 1 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prNames.1
= STRING: httpd .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prMin.1
= INTEGER: 0 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prMax.1
= INTEGER: 0 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prCount.1
= INTEGER: 11 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prErrorFlag.1

= INTEGER: 0 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prErrFixCmd.1
= STRING: Indicating that the process is running (not there’s no
error message or flag) However on a FC3 machine when I use the same config and same
walk here’s the output .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prIndex.1
= INTEGER: 1 .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.prTable.prEntry.prNames.1
