Right, Im doing the install now.... I've got a question about the Boot Loader Configuration.... I've selected "Automatic partitioning" and told it to "Keep all partitions and use existing space"... I've just "Next"ed out of the next partition screen - as Stuarts earlier post indicated I wouldn't need to muck about with the partitions... Im now at the boot loader configuration screen. My first worry is that the red-hat docs imply that the other OS (XP) should be detected and shown as "DOS". Mine just says "Other". I.e, my Boot Loader Configuration screen looks like this: Default Label Device ---------------------------------------------- x Fedora Core /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 other /dev/hda1 Is this ok? Or does the fact that it hasn't detected it mean that its not going to be able to launch XP later on??? Bart also said earlier that I should use grub in the master boot record. Could someone tell me how I set this in the install? Thanks, Dave This e-mail and any attachment is for authorised use by the intended recipient(s) only.
