The top of a page doesn't get rendered. It doesn't seem to matter how a document is created, or what software it's printed with: e.g. directly from OpenOffice, or from Konqueror (reading a pdf). The common denominator seems to be rendering a doc into postscript: whether printing to a file and viewing that with gs, or printing to a printer, the top inch or so of each page is cropped. -- Douglas Frank HP Co.
