I have not tried access CD-ROM in init 3 mode. So this information may
be not correct. udev should auto mount your cdrom under /media/cdrom/

if not you can alway mount it yourself
		as root
		cd /media/
		mdkir cdrom
		mount -t iso9660 /dev/hdc /media/cdrom

		currently my fstab for cdrom is
		/dev/hdc                /media/cdrom            auto
		pamconsole,exec,noauto,f
		scontext=system_u:object_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
