What are the symptoms of the problem you are having, and do you have SELinux enabled?

Are you getting 403 (forbidden) errors, or are you getting documents from /var/www?

Paul.

I'm still getting /var/www , or whatever the default is. I _want_ to
get /mnt/SharedFiles/www

SELinux is whatever the default is in fc3, so i think it's turned on.

Are there any other .conf files in /etc/httpd/conf ?

Are there any other DocumentRoot directives in any of those files (e.g. for virtual hosts)?

# fgrep DocumentRoot /etc/httpd/conf/*.conf

Paul.
