I was wondering what files i can blow away in my home directory so that it forces gnome to "Reset" its self to default. I have lost my sound and the ability to use Networkmanager.
You could try creating a new user account and logging in to that first; it'll have the clean default settings. If that doesn't work, there's no point blowing away the settings of your real account because the problem will be elsewhere.
