I am having problem with Yum, I think I have to change the URL’s in my Yum.conf. Following are the errors I am getting. I am using FC2.
Getting kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2.i686.rpm
retrygrab() failed for:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/2/i386//kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2.i686.rpm
Executing failover method
failover: out of servers to try
Error getting file http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/2/i386//kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2.i686.rpm
[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
If you point a browser at http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/2/i386/ then you'll see that the kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2.i686.rpm file is no longer there. You'd be better off using a more local mirror server instead of download.fedora.redhat.com anyway.
Have a look at http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html and choose a server nearer to your location, then edit your yum.conf accordingly.
