Do you have anything *not* installed via RPM? If not, then rpm -e will
tell you if there's a problem.

On my system,
$ rpm -q --whatrequires fontconfig

qt-3.3.3-8
gimp-2.2.3-0.fc3.2
urw-fonts-2.2-6
bitmap-fonts-0.3-4
fonts-xorg-base-6.8.1-1
fontconfig-devel-2.2.3-5
libgnomeui-2.8.0-1

You should be able to do a lot of this work yourself. If there are any
particular packages you aren't sure about, ask back.

James.
