A. Read the Release Notes.
Hmm, kernel source pkg. removed. interesting.
Douglas Frank HP Co.
And it will come back as "kernel-devel" in future release (RHEL4 already ships that way).
The kernel-devel package is the headers etc. needed to build modules (currently shipped with the regular kernel package in FC3) and not the full kernel-source package as shipped in FC2. So in FC4 there will be the regular kernel package, the kernel-devel package for building out of tree modules, and the kernel SRPM for building custom kernels.
Is RHEL4 like that?
