I just bought a laptop with "Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900 Graphics". I read on a website: http://www.geetduggal.com/linux_on_inspiron_6000.html that the max resolution one can get is 1600x1200 with the current x.org drivers. Has anyone had any other experience? The native resolution of my laptop is 1920 x 1200. Running anything different than the native resolution results in poor picture quality. Also, I paid substantially more for the higher resolution display, I would like to use it. If there is no hope for this, I still have time to return my laptop and get a similar one with an ATI PCI-E card, which I'm pretty sure will work to maximum potential with the proprietary ATI drivers. I don't want to do this though because it uses a lot more power than the integrated Intel chip. Any advice or opinions are welcome, thank you.
