Is that 24/7/365? 3 years is 26,280 hours. In days of yore, good disks used to be rated for 50-100K hours
Actually, disks in servers that work 24/7 may easily last longer than disks in desktops that are powered on/off daily. Spinup places lot of stress on disk's mehanical parts. 50k hours if disk is used in desktop is excellent. 50k hours for disk used in server should be something to expect...
